Free shipping across the continental U.S. Every Canadian Timber sauna ships free — LeisureCraft handles all shipping, customs, and cross-border charges. (Alaska, Hawaii, and some remote or island locations may require a shipping quote — contact us and we'll confirm before you order.)
How your sauna is delivered. Canadian Timber saunas ship as large, crated kits, so they travel by LTL freight carrier rather than a parcel service. Crates typically run 6–14 ft long and weigh roughly 800–1,600 lbs depending on the model. The freight carrier will call to schedule a delivery appointment and bring your crate to the end of your driveway or curbside. Freight carriers deliver curbside only — they can't back into a driveway or place the crate in a yard, garage, or backyard.
Getting the crate off the truck. The carrier delivers to the curb but does not unload the crate — a little planning makes delivery day easy:
- Crates 84" (7 ft) or shorter: the truck usually has a liftgate, and the driver can help lower the crate to the ground.
- Crates longer than 84": a liftgate can't be used, so unloading is your responsibility — have a forklift or similar equipment, a couple of helpers, or a trailer ready, or pick the crate up at the local freight terminal.
Also check that a full-size (often 18-wheel) delivery truck can reach your address and turn around. If you'd rather not arrange unloading for an oversized crate, contact us — LeisureCraft can dispatch a tilt-tow truck to set the crate down for an additional fee, and we'll quote it before you commit.
Inspect before you sign. Look the crate over at delivery. If anything is damaged or missing, note it on the carrier's delivery receipt (Bill of Lading), take a few photos, and contact us. Claims for shipping damage or missing components must be reported within 30 days of receipt, so the sooner you tell us, the faster we can send replacements.
Heaters & accessories. Sauna heaters and accessories are ordered separately and are not included in the sauna price. Estimated delivery timing is shown in the delivery window above.
3-year limited warranty. Every Canadian Timber sauna is designed and built by Dundalk LeisureCraft from Eastern White Cedar and backed by their 3-year limited warranty against defects in materials and workmanship under normal residential use. (Knotty and Clear Red Cedar wood upgrades carry a 5-year warranty.) Valid claims are covered by free replacement parts. As an authorized LeisureCraft online dealer, we'll help you file any claim.
What's not covered. Coverage is limited to replacement parts only — it does not include service, labor, or installation costs. It also does not cover normal wear and tear, damage from improper installation, inadequate or improper maintenance, natural weather conditions, or failure to follow LeisureCraft's installation, use, and care instructions. Certain wear items — such as the glass door, ash grate, and heater rocks — are excluded. All electrical connections must be completed by a licensed electrician; skipping this voids the warranty.
Heater coverage. Sauna heaters carry their own manufacturer's warranty — for example, LeisureCraft TimberGlow (5 years), Narvi (2 years), and HUUM (3 years). We'll point you to the right coverage for the heater you choose. We also recommend registering your sauna with LeisureCraft after delivery.
All sales are final. Because each sauna is built to order and drop-shipped directly from LeisureCraft, orders can't be returned or cancelled once production begins. Please confirm your model, heater, and delivery details with us before ordering — we're glad to help you get it right.
Damaged or missing parts? You're covered. Inspect your shipment at delivery, note any damage or shortage on the carrier's delivery receipt (Bill of Lading), photograph it, and contact us. Report shipping damage or missing components within 30 days of receipt and LeisureCraft will supply the replacement parts at no charge.
